Find It For Me — Terms of Service

Effective date: August 26, 2026

Launch preparation notice: These terms reflect the current operating framework. Final business contact details and legal review remain required before public live-mode payments are enabled.

What the service does

Find It For Me is a search, sourcing, matching and information service for hard-to-find goods. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Find It For Me is not the seller, manufacturer, dealer, importer, transporter, appraiser, authenticator, insurer, escrow agent or owner of a third-party item.

A paid match unlock purchases access to our search and matching service and the intentionally disclosed information for that specific match. It does not purchase the underlying item.

User responsibility and legality

You are responsible for determining whether a search, listing, purchase, possession, sale, shipment, import, export, transport or transfer is lawful and appropriate for you and the other parties involved. A match or successful automated screen is not legal approval.

You may not evade safety controls or use the service for items or transactions prohibited by our Acceptable Use & Prohibited Items Policy.

Third-party inventory

Listings and seller information may become stale, inaccurate, duplicated or unavailable. Before transacting, independently verify seller authority, ownership, availability, authenticity, condition, compatibility, price, taxes, shipping, pickup, warranties, recalls and legal requirements.

Paid unlocks

Before checkout we present the price, currency and service being purchased. The final amount is calculated server-side. Payment card handling is performed by the payment processor rather than by Find It For Me. A browser redirect after checkout is not proof of payment; only our verified payment process grants an unlock.

Founding Match Guarantee

If a paid match was materially unusable because it was stale, unavailable, materially misrepresented or materially incorrect when reasonably relied upon, the normal remedy is a replacement hunt or unlock credit for that protected request. Depending on applicable law and circumstances, a refund may instead be required or appropriate.

The guarantee does not create unlimited unrelated searches and does not cover buyer remorse, ordinary negotiation failure, or materially changed requirements.

Sellers

Sellers represent that they own or are authorized to sell submitted inventory, the information is accurate to the best of their knowledge, the item is lawfully possessed, they have rights to submitted images/content, and they will update inventory that becomes sold or unavailable.

Platform protection

You may not scrape or systematically extract protected seller, buyer, source or inventory data; bypass paid unlocks or access controls; overwhelm the service; harvest personal information; or build a competing protected seller/source database from Find It For Me data.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we do not warrant third-party sellers, listings, products, websites, carriers or payment processors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount paid directly to Find It For Me for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the preceding 12 months or CAD $100. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Governing law

Unless non-waivable consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Contact

A business mailing address and legal contact channel will be published before public live-mode payments are enabled.
