INVENTORY DISCOVERY

Searchable inventory should connect buyers to the seller who actually has it.

FIFM is an inventory discovery platform focused on hard-to-find items. It helps surface authorized seller inventory and route the buyer to the seller’s own website, parts portal, sales desk, phone team or preferred ordering channel.

Why useful inventory can stay invisible

Many sellers already own valuable stock, but the inventory is spread across separate websites, ecommerce catalogues, internal files, parts systems and older databases. A buyer may know exactly what they need and still fail to find the right seller.

FIFM is designed to reduce that discovery gap. The platform searches for inventory relevance, not generic business promotion, and keeps the seller’s own transaction flow intact.

Good inventory-discovery use cases

Obsolete and discontinued stock

Older parts, discontinued models and replacements that remain useful even when mainstream search no longer surfaces them well.

Surplus and slow-moving inventory

Existing stock that may have a buyer somewhere else but lacks a practical discovery path.

Deep structured catalogues

Large parts or equipment catalogues where a specific SKU, model, interchange or description matters more than broad category marketing.

FIFM does not take over the seller relationship

The seller keeps pricing, payment, fulfillment, warranty and returns, the transaction, and the customer relationship. FIFM’s role is discovery and routing. Seller authorization governs whether inventory can be imported or made searchable inside the network.
